Nourish work to improve the health of local communities through environmental and nutritional education and upliftment. This means that Nourish plant sustainable food gardens, organize donation networks, help feed orphans and plant trees (amongst other endeavours) but always strive to empower local people by including them in the upliftment of their own communities.
Nourish was founded by Sarah Bergs to make a difference in her hometown of Hoedspruit and the nearby communities of Acornhoek and Tulamahashe, in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. While some of Nourish’s projects continue to focus on this area, they have also expanded to include programs in the townships of Johannesburg, as well as communities in the neighbouring countries of Southern Africa such as Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
Making a difference: All of our customers are offered the opportunity to purchase ‘Travel Trees’ which are then planted in local communities. Captured In Africa have also made contributions to this great charity.
