What is Wild Studio?

An innovative and pioneering way to learn photography and develop wildlife photography portfolios with the view of becoming a published wildlife photographer. The experience is totally unique and a lot of fun. We guarantee that guests will come away with images they are proud of to share with your friends, family and the rest of the world on social media.

What is the photo season?

As a company closely linked to filming and photography Great Plains Wild Studio looks at the quieter months between January and March as the perfect time for great photography. Rather than the emerald, green, or rainy season we call this the photo season. So much about a great photograph often rests with the background as well as the subject. The photo season provides a theatre set of lush greens and dramatic skies that provide breadth and depth to any photographic portfolio.

Who are the Great Plains Wild Studio Partner Photographers?

David Murray, the Great Plains Wild Studio Coordinator, has assembled an outstanding group of specialist, photographic guides based in Kenya and Botswana who bring unrivalled insight and knowledge to the regions where the workshops take place. Trips will be led by David Murray himself or one of these other specialists based on season and availability.
