Anabezi luxury safari camp is situated on a ridge above the Zambezi River and stretches out into the African landscape, sheltered under the shade of a Winterthorn grove, at the edge of the stunning Zambezi floodplain.

Anabezi’s safari camp communal guest areas boast two spacious lounge and dining areas, raised above the bush on wooden decks to allow the resident game to roam naturally around the grounds. The living and dining areas stretch seamlessly towards an infinity pool that overlooks the magnificent Zambezi River, the Mushika riverbed and the wildlife that traverse its watery deltas. Items from the “Pack for a Purpose” project is also sent to the school for distribution on a regular basis.

Lion Camp also offers 24 hours electricity sustainably powered to the camp by an inverter system, charged by solar panels. Local sustainably grown produce is used for meals and an advanced water filtration system helps provide the camp with clean water.

Thanks to Toka Leya’s tree-planting project and pioneering energy-saving systems and recycling initiatives, this formerly degraded site has been rehabilitated to become a lush riverine woodland once more. The lodge (guests included) continue to plant trees, even donating to renew other sites in Zambia. Toka Leya also take pride in the community partnerships management and staff have created here, including guest visits to nearby supported communities and schools.
